White Mountain Winter

We stayed at a quiet and cozy inn in NH for the week after Christmas just to properly experience winter. We drove through some snow storms and hike through some pristine woods.

It was a very memorable week.

Fenway snow

A heavy snow in December. After digging out my car, I decided to take a short walk in Fenway. It looked so much different than in summer time.

First snow of the year

After a few inches of fresh snow overnight, I went to the Arboretum for a refreshing walk. The park was transformed into a pristine world!

A quietly pleasing walk through a magnificent bridge. Against a burning sunset, the silhouette of the Lady Liberty has never looked so beautiful.

NY foliage

I visited friends in NYC the last weekend of October in a desperate bid to catch some deep fall foliage.

And boy did we get what we asked for!

Well, all of New England apparently had the same idea. After 3 hours of traffic we couldn't even get on the Kangamangus. Still, it's the White Mountains we are talking about - anywhere you look is a perfect picture!
