And in the same field, it beholds, every hour, a picture which was never seen before,
and which shall never be seen again. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

A weekend at sea

An amazing over-night race to Solomons Island and an easy sail back on a sunny day with the spinnaker open. A beautiful weekend.
Sail boats lined up at the starting line

Referee boat at the finish line in the morning. We arrived after 14 hours at sea.

The beautiful spinnaker of the Imp.

Sailing under some dramatic clouds. We made it back before the rain set in.

A massive ship in the Chesapeake shipping lane

A lone sail boat on the horizon. This picture says all about sailing - it is simply magical to have breeze in your face and wind in your sail.

Porch garden

Possibly the most expensive vegetables ever grown. I have invested about $100 into a vegetable box to grow some cherry tomatoes and pepper. Mostly as a gardening hobby but also moral lesson to myself not to take food for granted.
