And in the same field, it beholds, every hour, a picture which was never seen before,
and which shall never be seen again. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Maryland fall colors

I thought I would dearly miss the foliage in New England when I moved down to DC. My worries were entirely unfounded.

Shenandoah National Park

This is my third hike in the park. The first time was a spectacular panorama on top of Mary Rock. Last time we came across two black bears. This time one of the most beautiful sunsets I've seen. I can't help but wondering what will be the pleasant surprise when I return next, maybe with my snow shoes...

Flamenco Recital

My rare venture into portraits.

Through my iPhone

Sometimes the camera is just not around when I see something interesting. Fortunately, my iPhone steps up to the plate. Not great photos, but a nice reminder of fleeting moments.

First peek in the Shenandoah

The Shenandoah is not as high as the White Mountains. But the lushness more than makes up for it. I'll be back again soon...

National Art Gallery

A day in the city, getting some art exposure to stem my culture deficiency.

Andrews Air Show

One nice thing about living next to the capital is that you get to see some interesting stuff for free, such as the Andrews Air Show.
At least for a day, these weapons of war are toys for poeple's amusement.
